Hildy Shawl, named after my grandmother Hildegard, is a classic Bavarian triangular shawl with a catchy cable pattern that is easy to knit but looks complicated. This creates a real wow effect. The Hildy Shawl is knitted from the top down so that you can slowly work your way up to the cable pattern and adjust the size to suit your individual needs. The pattern only consists of the following parts: small cables (4 stitches), stockinette-stitch-ribs (2 stitches) and large cables (6 stitches). The individual parts are separated from each other by 2 purl stitches so that they stand out plastically.
The instructions describe the pattern in the first part stitch by stitch. In between, you will find hints to help you understand the pattern so that you can continue knitting it yourself in the second part without a stitch-by-stitch description, as the pattern is repeated and you can continue on your own without having to look at the instructions.
Skill level:
It is important that you can distinguish between knit and purl stitches and count knitted rows. For the cables, stitches are crossed to the left and right with a cable needle. It can also be helpful if you know how to correct mistakes if you only notice them a few rows later without having to unravel everything. This is not absolutely necessary, as it is always possible to rip back, but it is sometimes more time-consuming.

"Ich finde die Anleitung super. Sowohl die Zeichnung am Anfang, die zeigt, wo was gemessen wird, als auch die vielen Baukästen für mögliche Veränderungen. Ich würde mir wünschen, mehr Anleitungen wären so transparent und inklusiv"
